Lynx Entertainment artiste Kuami Eugene has expressed happiness at the exit of Afrobeats duo DopeNation from the record label.

According to the sensational Highlife singer, the exit of the group from the record label makes him feel good.

DopeNation, comprising of twin brothers Tony and Michael Boafo, also known as Twist and B2, respectively signed with Lynx in April 2019.

But the twins recently left the record label for reasons which are yet to be disclosed.

Reacting to the exit of the duo, Kuami Eugene indicated that he was neither was disturbed nor had any problems because the two mature folks who took their won decision.

In an interview with Joy News TV sighted by YEN.com.gh, the Angela hitmaker stated that he felt it was time for them to move on.

‘"For me it makes me feel good. They are two matured folks. They joined Lynx Entertainment and I believe their time is over," he said.

Eugene added that he was in full support of their decision to move as long as it was what they wanted.

DopeNation first burst onto the music scene as producers. Some of their productions include songs such as Kpuu Kpaa by Shatta Wale, Wow by Joey B ft EL, Poison by Ebony Reigns, Forever by Eazzy ft Mr Eazi, among others.

The later branched into singing and released their first single “Bebia Ye Shi” in 2016. In 2017, the duo released another single “Uh Huh”.

DopeNation has also released bangers like Eish, Naami, and Zankuwhich was their first song under Lynx Entertainment.

Meanwhile, Highlife singer, Bisa Kdei, has shot down comparisons between him and Kuami Eugene his Lynx Entertainment compatriot, KiDi.

In a Facebook Live interview, Bisa said it was not normal to rate him with the likes of KiDi and Kuami Eugene

According to the Mansa singer, he was way ahead of the above-mentioned names and paved the way for highlife music in Ghana
