Gloria Amoah, a former student of the Saint Mary's Senior High School, has led her group as the boss of Airee Pad to donate dozens of their sanitary pads to her old school.

According to the Unique Marketing Support group of kind donors, the gesture was part of a program dubbed 'high levels', under which they support senior high school entertainment events.

They told YEN.com.gh:

"We saw the need to do an extension of high levels by donating sanitary pads to schools to support our young girls especially in these hard times of COVID 19."

Photos that were taken during the donation exercise show that the gesture was much appreciated by both the staff and students at St Mary's SHS.

Although everyone put on a mask, careful observation reveals that the students were particularly excited, owing to the fact that they wouldn't need to spend a dime on pads for some time.

SVTV Africa in Ghana was responsible for the gesture as a video sighted by YEN.com.gh indicates the group aired the sachet water hawker's story on their social media platforms.

After watching the story of how the single mother was struggling to take care of herself and the children, tons of Ghanaians decided to give her a helping hand.
