Veteran on-screen personality, author, and satirist Kwaku Sintim-Misa, has caused a stir on social media by making claims over the efficacy of the Word of God.
While speaking in an exclusive interview with celebrity blogger, Nkonkonsa, the King of Ghana Comedy posited that he had a problem with the Bible due to is contradictions.
"I have a problem with the Bible because it has so many contradictions," KSM said.
In citing examples to back his claim, KSM noted that the Bible indicated God was all-knowing, so why would the same book also claim that God had to test Abraham to prove his loyalty.
He said God should have known that Abraham was not going to sacrifice Isaac in the first place.
The Saga of The Returnee creator added that the people who wrote the Bible did so using human understanding therefore they attributed human qualities to God.
He added that the human attributes handed to God explained why at some points in the Bible it was said that God got angry and even regretted appointing some kings like Saul.
Forward to the 20:15 minutes to hear what KSM said exactly.
KSM explained that God did not have human attributes therefore could not get angry as the Bible has had many Christians believing.
The TGIF show host indicated that he considered himself more spiritual than religious since, according to him, religion had become too institutionalised.
While speaking in the extensive interview, he said he was a giver not because he expected something in return but many Christians hang on to the hope of receiving from God based on the fact that they have paid their tithes or given offertory.
Moving on to another matter of contradiction, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that a staunch fan and supporter of actress and entrepreneur, Fella Makafui, caused a stir on social media with a tattoo of the actress on his back that appeared to resemble another actress.
The photo, which was sighted by YEN.com.gh on Instagram, had the tattoo of Fella at the back of the fan and it was joined in a collage with a photograph of Fella Makafui.
Looking critically at the tattoo, one can say it looked more like fellow actress, Lydia Forson, than the replica of Fella that the fan intended to create.
