Neymar and goalkeeper Lucas Pirard were both involved in a face-to-face battle when Paris Saint-Germain faced Waasland-Beveren in a club-friendly.
The PSG striker was about taking another penalty kick awarded to his team as he asked the shot-stopper which of the corners he should shoot the ball into.
Neymar playfully chatted with his opponent but the Brazilian did not even take the resulting spot-kick directing towards goal.
Instead, the 28-year-old made a penalty-assist to Mauro Icardi who scored from close range to increase PSG's lead in the exhibition game.
The Ligue 1 champions are currently preparing for their Champions League quarter-final clash against Serie A sie Atalanta in August.
The game against Beveren was their second match in the past week with the first against Le Havre ending in a 9-0 win and the Belgian second division side were thrashed by 7-0.

Loic Mbe Soh completed the onslaught in the 90th minute to give the Parisian a commanding victory.
