Ghanaian social media sensation, Shatta Bandle, known in his private life as Firdaus Idrissu, has reportedly lost his father.

Shatta Bandle's father, who was known as Alhaji Idrissu, is reported to have passed away today, Monday, July 20, 2020.

Details about the passing away of Alhaji Idrissu are scant at the moment, but Bandle has confirmed the news on his Snapchat.

Sharing a photo of his father, Shatta Bandle captioned it with:

RIP to my real father, dead today.

Reports after Shatta Bandle's snap have indicated his father had been ill for some time and was receiving treatment until he passed away on Monday morning.

Shatta Bandle's father came up on social media for the first time after the diminutive social media star shared a photo describing him as lovely.

The photo, which showed a resemblance between Shatta Bandle and his father, went viral at the time.

The unfortunate news is coming just a few days after Shatta Bandle joined AY Poyoo and Ablekuma Nana Lace on a new song by former Ruff and Smooth member, Akhan, which is titled Blessings.

Meanwhile, Shatta Bandle recently flaunted a brand new Ferrari on social media he claimed to have bought.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Shatta Bandle is seen standing next to the car while a faceless individual, who is hiding behind the camera, captures a video of the car.

Shatta Bandle later enters the car while he holds the steering wheel and says he is going to give the new car to his girlfriend.

Earlier, YEN.com.gh also reported that Shatta Bandle wanted to buy telecommunications giant, MTN Ghana if the company is unable to run its affairs.

According to Shatta Bandle, as a businessman he has lost a lot of money because of data challenges.
