Ghanaian social media sensation, Shatta Bandle, known in private life as Firdaus Idrissu, has reportedly lost his father.
Shatta Bandle's father, Alhaji Iddrisu, on Monday, 20 July 2020 passed away after being sick for some time now.
Shatta Bandle confirmed the sad news by posting a photo on his Snapchat with the caption: "RIP to my real father, dead today."
Commenting about the death of his father, Shatta Bandle prayed that Allah allows his father into paradise.
"MAY ALLAH GRANT HIM JANNAH."
See the photo below:
In Islam, Jannah means “paradise, garden”, is the final abode of the righteous and the Islamic believers, but also the Garden of Eden, where Adam and Hawa dwelt is called Jannah.
The unfortunate news comes just a few days after Shatta Bandle joined AY Poyoo, Ablekuma Nanalace on a new song by former Ruff and Smooth member, Akhan, which is titled 'Blessings'.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Shatta Bandle had posted a photo of himself fully dressed to avoid contracting the deadly coronavirus.
In the photo sighted by YEN.com.gh Shatta Bandle was seen wearing a face mask as he also wore an oversized dress known in the local parlance as 'jalabia' over his hands and legs in a bid to avoid contracting the virus.
One strange thing about the photo was that the location showed that Shatta Bandle was in Wuhan China.
