Former Chelsea star Dan Petrescu has been rushed to hospital in Romania after testing positive for the deadly coronavirus and he is expected to be in the emergency ward for 48 hours.
The 52-year-old is currently a coach and he is presently handling CFR Cluj in his native country of Romania.
According to the report by UK Sun, 12 people at the club have already tested positive for the virus and Dan Petrescu will now be the 13th employee with Covid-19.
Among those previously affected at CFR Cluj are said to be players and the coaching crew and they have all been asked to go into isolation.
Petrescu helped Chelsea win the Cup Winners' Cup, FA Cup, League Cup and Uefa Super Cup during his time in West London.
He ended his five-year Stamford Bridge spell in 2000 before joining Southampton where he failed to get regular playing time.
Before returning home to be the coach of CFR Club, Dan Petrescu also had spell in Poland, Russia and China.
Meanwhile, his former side Chelsea are currently occupying third position on the Premier League table with the hopes of getting the Champions League ticket.
The Blues are also in the final of the 2020 English FA Cup where they will face Arsenal in the final of the championship.
