Ghanaian international footballer, Mohammed Kudus, was given an emotional farewell by Nordsjælland after joining Ajax Amsterdam.

The 19-year-old forward returned to Nordsjælland to say goodbye to the team that hone his talent.

On Wednesday, July 22, 2020, Kudus released a video on Twitter in which the Nordsjælland coaches are presenting four players with flowers amidst congratulatory messages and the sound of Ghanaian singer Stonebwoy’s Journey song blaring out loud.

One of the players in the video is a Ghanaian defender, Abdul Mumin, who is also leaving the club after deciding not to extend his contract with the Danish side.

In the emotional video, assistant coach of Nordsjælland, Didi Dramani, who is also a Ghanaian, is captured holding flowers.

Kudus will be joining his new teammates in Holland in the coming days ahead of the upcoming season.

YEN.com.gh previously reported how Kudus was officially joined Dutch side, Ajax Amsterdam.

The youngster inked a five-year deal with the former European Champions.

The club confirmed the attacking midfielder has signed a five-year contract until June 30, 2025 after passing a mandatory medical exam on Thursday, July 16, 2020 in Amsterdam.
