General overseer of the Cornerstone Bible Church International in Kumasi, His Grace Apostle Godbless Boateng, has linked COVID-19 to satanic influence.
The man of God has hinted that the emergence of the COVID-19 can be seen as a satanic influence in preparation towards the introduction of one world order to create confusion and destroy the society.
The respected man of God made the assertion on Sunday, July 19, 2020, when he was delivering a sermon which focused attention on the existence of Covid-19 and the plots of satan to overtake the world economy.
He noted that, under the exploits of the virus, satan is working fast through his powerful agents to close down churches so that the power and authority of God could be kept indoors.
This he said, the pandemic serves as a preparation point to breed anti-Christ elements whose functions would be among others, promotion of wickedness and presiding over the biggest tribulation the gospel speaks about in the book of Daniel and Revelation.
Apostle Boateng disclosed that it was against these backgrounds where obnoxious policies including an hour church service among others have been tagged on church services in an attempt to silence and put fear into churches to avoid spreading the good news to the people.
For these reasons, His Grace Apostle Boateng encouraged churches not to be frightened by the challenges facing the Christians, and instead, stay resolute and renew their faith in the Lord with the expectation that worse things are yet to come.
He reminded the society to expect global lockdowns, human right abuses, abusement of freedom of worship, blackout, oppressions, and suppressions that would see the police and security forces taking over the state functions in a rather, disastrous manner against people, stressing that all these atrocities would hit the world to enhance the introduction of world order.
He asked, why for nearly a year ago, world scientists have failed in their research to come out with the cure of Covid-19, but to help alleviate fear from the people, Apostle Godbless Boateng urged Ghanaians to be law-abiding and observe the protocol restrictions as introduced.
He, therefore, appealed to the government to give a briefing space to churches by way of reducing the number of restrictions against the churches, indicating that churches stand for discipline and play a crucial role to promote peace, unity, and economic development of the country.
