Natty Lee, a member of Shatta Wale's defunct militants, has opened up about how he joined Shatta Wale's record label.

According to him, he never signed any contract with Shatta Wale before he became a militant.

In a report sighted on Celebritiesbuzz, Natty Lee said the only form of agreement he had with the Melissa hitmaker was a verbal one.

He stated that there was no official document that spelled out terms and conditions or bound him to Shatta Wale or his record label.

Natty Lee said:

We did it verbally but not on paper. There is nothing to show that he has [officially]. I know I am working for him but we didn’t sit down to talk and I wasn’t worried about it.

I see him as my brother and likewise, he does the same, if all these signings come in then it means one is feeling insecure and he knew I am a long time brother and we knew for life is for life.

Natty Lee's comments come after his former boss, Shatta Wale, stated he had a lifetime contract with his militants.

Shatta said because of his lifetime contract with the militants, no other record label can work with them.

But Natty Lee said there is no document to back Shatta Wale's claim.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Shatta Wale got his fans on social media rooting for him in his new video. The famed Dancehall musician is seen showing off his football skills in the video.

In the video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Shatta Wale is displaying 'Messi' like skills with a football. Halfway through his juggles, he takes off his hat, hits the ball high, and places it on his back.

He juggled the ball while wearing a blue kaftan, a white and blue hat, and a black pair of shoes.
