Marricke Kofi Gane, an independent candidate for the 2020 general elections has launched his manifesto detailing his plans and policies that would be implemented after winning power.
The manifesto was launched on July 23, 2020, in a well-organized event followed by YEN.com.gh on the official Facebook handle named The GANEaians - Gane4Ghana Page.
In his closing remarks during the event, the aspiring president of Ghana indicated that the quality of their manifesto alone puts them far ahead of the other aspiring presidents including the flagbearers of the NPP and NDC.
In his own words, "Our manifesto is an exciting piece of document that will set the pace for this year's elections and make any reader realize we actually have what it takes to send Ghana to a far better place than we are"
Marricke Kofi Gane is an international development expert who has served in huge capacities outside Ghana to bring war-torn economies back on their feet.
He raised many eyebrows in 2019 when he declared his intention to run for the presidency and has been on that cause relentlessly since then with all his activities funded by the Ghanaian people.
He is known for the resounding promise, "I will always put Ghana first" and the hashtags #TimeNoDey as well as #GhanaDeservesBetter
In another report, the former boss of the Electoral Commission of Ghana, Charlotte Osei, has a daughter called Krapa Osei who is also a boss lady, just like her mother.
YEN.com.gh noticed on Krapa's personal Instagram handle that she is a lover of animals and Ghana Women Matter's official Facebook handle confirms she runs a non-governmental organisation (NGO) to protect animals.
Animals rights are not too revered in Ghana which makes it totally exciting that a lady of Krapa's calibre decided to champion such a cause with an NGO.
