- The Minister of the Interior, Ambrose Dery, has declared Friday, July 31, 2020, as a holiday

- He said the day should be observed as such throughout the country

- The minister also called for the various health and safety protocols to be observed

The Minister for the Interior, Ambrose Dery, has signed for Friday, July 31, 2020, to be declared a holiday.

In the statement sighted by YEN.com.gh, the day marks the Eid-Al-Adha, and should be observed throughout the country.

The statement further said the day will be observed as a statutory holiday.

In other news, former president Jerry John Rawlings has visited the memorial park of former late president John Evans Attah Mills.

Rawlings said even though they had their own differences, Attah Mills was a good person with a great personality.

He said he is ready to do this with his sweat and blood for Mahama.
