Willian is on the verge of agreeing a new deal with Chelsea after several months of tussle regarding his contract, according to reports.
The Brazilian international's contract at Stamford Bridge ended at the conclusion of the 2019-20 Premier League season.
And the winger is understood to have demanded a new three-year deal against Chelsea's wish to hand him a two-year extension.
But according to British news media outlet Sky Sports, a breakthrough for the 31-year-old has been achieved over a new deal.
Frank Lampard is desperate to keep Willian and with the current news about his new contract talks, the Blues boss will be happy to keep his man.
However, Willian's news will come as a huge blow to Arsenal who claimed they were already in advanced talks with his agent Kia Joorabchian.
Man United, Barcelona and David Beckham's Inet Milan have also been linked with the dazzling Chelsea winger.
But the former Shakhtar Donestk star admitted that despite being linked with several clubs are he remain focused on staying at the west London club.
He told the De Sola YouTube channel: "There are rumours about several teams that may be interested.
"For the time being, I have had no concrete proposal. But rumours always arise. I'm waiting. My agent hasn't given me any news yet. I'm waiting for his call.
"Chelsea only offer me two years and I asked for three. My goal in the next contract is to sign for three years. So I haven't had a deal with Chelsea yet.
"This is what I asked the club for, three years of contract. If you give me that, I'll get the pen and sign the contract tomorrow."
Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh had earlier reported that Chelsea star Willian seems to have confirmed that he is leaving the club at the end of the season.
This comes after the Brazilian revealed the Blues are not going about change their mind of giving him more than a 2-year contract as against the 3-year deal he wants.
Despite claiming his career at the Blues remain uncertain, Willian is prepared to sign a short-term extension so he can see out the remainder of the campaign as the Premier League season is due to run at least into July, The Sun reports.
