Former President, John Dramani Mahama, and his wife, Lordina, are celebrating their marriage anniversary.
The former first couple got married exactly 28 years ago today, Wednesday, July 29, in 1992.
In celebration of their 28th anniversary, the former president has taken to social media to share some loved-up photos with his wife.

In the first of the two photos, Mahama is seen wearing a red collar t-shirt over a pair of blue jeans while Lordina wears a striped orange and white outfit.
Standing in their living room and holding hands, Mahama and Lordina look happy as they smile for the camera.
The second photo has the Mahama's dressed in white outfits. They are locked in an embrace as they laugh heartily.
Sharing the photos, Mahama indicated that it is a "Love Wednesday" because he was celebrating 28 years of marriage with Lordina, who he described as his friend.

The wedding anniversary photos from the former president have led to reactions from his followers on social media. Many of them have wished them well.
Mahama and Lordina have been blessed with five children in their 28 years of marriage, four boys and one girl.
The wedding anniversary comes barely two weeks after their first son, Shafik, got married in a private wedding in Dubai.
As previously reported by YEN.com.gh, Shafik got married to his Algerian fiancée, Asma, on Thursday, July 16, 2020.

Photos and videos show the wedding was held under strict observance of social distancing and COVID-19 protocols and thus had a few family and friends in attendance.
While the former president could not attend the wedding, he took to social media to congratulate Shafik and his wife after the ceremony.
Sharing a photo of the young couple, Mahama congratulated them and blessed their union.
