Eid al-Adha is the second of two Islamic holidays celebrated worldwide each year and considered the holier of the two.

It honours the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismael as an act of obedience to God's command. But, before Ibrahim could sacrifice his son, God provided a lamb to sacrifice instead.

Just like all such occasions, many of Ghana's favourite celebrities have taken to social media to mark the occasion.

Ghanaian stars like Nana Ama McBrown, Lil Win, Emelia Brobbey and many others took to their social media pages to share photos in celebration of the Eid.

Here are some of the best Eid photos from Ghana's favourite celebrities as YEN.com.gh spotted on social media.
