- A Nigerian cleric has strongly condemned the ongoing season of the BBNaija show

- According to the man of God, the show is only wrecking the morals of kids who have been forced to stay at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic

- The man of God threatened to destroy the show with his spiritual powers if the FG does not shut it down

Every season of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality show has always faced its fair share of online criticisms and the Lockdown season is not any different.

Just recently, YEN.com.gh sighted a video of a Nigerian cleric who expressed his strong reservations against the show which will still be running for the next two months.

The man of God questioned the situations of things in the country and wondered why the BBNaija show has been allowed to go on.

According to him, a lot of students have been forced to stay at home due to the coronavirus pandemic and most of them have resorted to spending their time watching the reality show.

He called on the federal government to do something about the reality show which is still running.

"I am not happy, the government of the federal republic of Nigeria wake up. Something must be down about this BBNaija of a thing; this is not the time for it," the cleric said.

In a different portion of the clip, the man of God threatened to use his spiritual powers to destroy the reality show if the government does not heed his call to do something about it.

He said: "If the government does not shut BBNaija down, I will shut them down by force. With my spiritual capability, I can do it."

In a related BBNaija story, YEN.com.gh previously gathered the report of a Nigerian man who took to social media to criticize the first Hausa housemate of the show, Kaisha.

The individual in a post shared on his Twitter page noted that no responsible man from the northern part of the country will let his daughter be a part of the show.

His post generated mixed reactions from Twitter users.
