The new Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Rita Akosua Dickson was outdoored yesterday August 1, 2020, at the school premises in Kumasi.
She happens to become the first female Vice-Chancellor of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.KNUST.
In photos sighted from the event, President Akufo-Addo in a Facebook post, Nana Addo expressed confidence that Prof. Dickson will rise up to the challenge, and excel in her new role.
He however, wished her well and prayed for God's blessing in her new role.
Ghanaians have wished her well in her new role.
Boachie Yiadom simply said it was a colorful ceremony.
