Wale, born Olubowale Victor Akintimehin, had taken to Twitter to announce he has a new song with Sarkodie. His tweet suggested Baba Folarin is on the song too.

Wale's tweet read as:

Baba Folarin x @sarkodie soon come

Not long after Wale's tweet, Sarkodie replied with emojis of fire to confirm the news.

While the two artistes did not give many details about the song or even when it is supposed to be released, the tweet from Sarkodie has generated mixed reactions from his followers.

While many are anticipating the collaboration between the two rappers, others think it is nothing special because Wale is not the biggest of artistes in America.

As recently reported by YEN.com.gh, Shatta Wale is expected to feature Meek Mill on an upcoming song.

The expected feature is one of the reasons some followers who are believed to be Shatta Wale's fans have been downplaying the Sarkodie collabo with Wale.

Another reason for the negative comments is the fact that Shatta Wale has been featured on a song by Beyoncé, one of the biggest artistes in America and the world.

Many of Sarkodie's critics think after the release of Beyoncé and Shatta Wale's Already video, any collabo should have come with an artiste on Beyoncé's level or not far below, and not Wale.

Meanwhile, Nana Akufo-Addo has congratulated Shatta Wale on his collaboration with the American superstar.

The message from Akufo-Addo came two days after Beyoncé released the video for her Already song with Shatta Wale.
