Dancehall stalwart, Shatta Wale, has responded to President Nana Akufo-Addo's congratulatory message to him on his Already video with Beyoncé.

Akufo-Addo congratulated Shatta Wale on Sunday, August 2, 2020, two days after Beyoncé released the video for their Already song.

In a post on Twitter, the president wrote: "Shatta Wale, you do all", a pidgin expression used to hail someone for doing something good.

In a quick reply, Shatta Wale also heaped praises on President Akufo-Addo, describing him as a man with swag.

Playing on the New Patriotic Party's campaign slogan of '4 More for Nana', the Melissa hitmaker stated that he was going to keep the tweet for "4 more years", a subtle suggestion that he wants Akufo-Addo to win a second term.

Shatta Wale's tweet read:

The music video for the Already song by Beyoncé and Shatta Wale comes over one year after it was released by the American singer.

As reported by YEN.com.gh at the time, Beyoncé curated two albums featuring international artistes for the Lion King movie which are called Spirit and The Gift.

It is on The Gift album, released on Friday, July 19, 2019, which had Beyoncé featuring Shatta Wale on the Already song.

After the video was released, Shatta Wale showed appreciation for Beyoncé for featuring him in her album.

The Taking Over hitmaker took to his social media handles to post a photo of himself and the American singer and expressed his thanks to her for giving him a chance to showcase his talent.

Meanwhile, Afia Schwarzenegger has endorsed President Nana Akufo-Addo's second term bid.

According to Schwar, Akufo-Addo's Free SHS policy and other achievements were her main reasons for choosing the current president over John Mahama.

In a new video, Schwar indicated she would have wished to vote for Mahama, who she calls father, but Akufo-Addo's achievements were too glaring to ignore.
