Ghanaian reggae musician and radio presenter, Blakk Rasta, has opened up about the current state of the Chief Executive Officer of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM1).
In an interview on Happy FM monitored by YEN.com.gh, Blakk Rasta said NAM1 is currently into the business of selling phones and fridges for survival.

He added that there are seven different departments at their East Legon office that handle the sale of these items.
"Music has given Shatta Wale money so if Nana Appiah Mensah wants to sign an artiste and thinks that will give him money, he should be left to do his business because people in debt also do business."

Speaking about the wealth of NAM1, Blakk Rasta said he believes the young businessman was moving too fast when he started and that accounted for his current state.

“He has always said that he has no presidential ambitions but I think he was moving too fast. Young man, how old is NAM1, thirty-something. I’m older than NAM1, almost 15 years so he’s my kid brother but God blessed him to get something small and when he got the money as a young man the exuberance pushed him so he was sharing money, driving the cars and throwing money, he thought he could solve the problems in Ghana in just one day.”

However, Blakk Rasta was quick to add that he is optimistic NAM1 will bounce back someday.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that NAM1 had rained praises on his wife, Rozy, as she celebrated her birthday on July 8.
NAM1, who has the chief executive officer of the now defunct gold dealership, Menzgold, took to social media to show appreciation for his wife for being with him in these difficult times.
In a photo sighted by YEN.com.gh, NAM1 said, if given the opportunity, he will choose his wife over and over again.
