Two of Ghana's topmost musicians, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, have got social media buzzing after som interesting exchanges between them.
Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy are expected to battle it out on radio in the maiden edition of Asaase Radio's Soundclash.
Dubbed the #Clash2CrushCOVID, the soundclash which will come off on Tuesday night pitches the Shatta Movement and Bhim Nation presidents against each to see who is the greatest.
Ahead of the soundclash tonight, Shatta Wale has fired a warning to Stonebwoy saying he was going to deal with him and deal with his father (godfather he meant), Samini, later.
In a jovial tone, Shatta Wale described Stonebwoy and Samini as Putuu niggaz, in reference to the Stonebwoy's viral Putuu song.
"So @stonebwoyb all what samini say you still wan clash ..alright !!! No problem ..I will deal with u ,and catch your father @samini_dagaati and deal with him too mercilessly later this year .. #putuuniggaz #AsaaseRadio"
Not long after, Stonebwoy replied Shatta Wale saying he was only blowing hot air and that he was going to defeat him just like he did in 2010.
Picking a song of Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy also jovially described him as a Kpuu Kpaa negga.
"Lol herrrrh You Dey Yob Ruff...Remember 2010? I Dey Come Like Kakai For the 2nd Coming #KpuuKpaaNegga! #asaaseradio995 @asaaseradio995."
Shatta Wale then responded that he never knew Stonebwoy was a fan who could sing his songs like Kakai.
He also noted that 2010 is not 2020 and he is now a Dancehall maths teacher.
"Oh wow I never knew u were a fan kwraaa..the kakai line alone shows you never listened to @samini_dagaati one bit you think 2010 be 2020 erh !!! Hooooo !!!! dancehall maths teacher #AsaaseSoundClash."
But Stonebwoy did not budge insisting he was more action than words.
"#AsaaseSoundClash Action over Words Dem Ah Go Dead Again!"
The exchanges between the two ensured that the hashtag for the show is trending on Twitter.
The Asaase Soundclash comes after Stonebwoy's lovely reaction to the Already music video of Beyoncé and Shatta Wale.
As previously reported by YEN.com.gh, Stonebwoy, in a post on Twitter, congratulated Shatta Wale on the video which he described as a big one.
Stonebwoy also expressed pride in Shatta Wale and described him as his blood.
