Ghanaian dancehall king, Shatta Wale, has spelt out his true intentions for the Ghanaian music industry.

According to the Melissa hitmaker, his major aim is to help change the Ghanaian music industry from its current state to a better place.

In an interview with Ghana News Agency monitored by YEN.com.gh, Shatta Wale disclosed he is determined to do everything possible to ensure he puts Ghana on the map through his music.

Shatta Wale added that his feature with US singer Beyoncé on her Already song is confirmation of how determined he is to transform the music industry and sell Ghana to the world.

"Everyone knows how this feature has helped push me further. People thought I would have failed in my mission but this is how a warrior fights. I believe I didn’t come into the music industry to cause any mess but to bring changes which people should appreciate."

He equated his collaboration with Beyoncé to how the legendary Osibisa band sold Ghana to the world with their music.

Shatta Wale also urged Ghanaians to support and appreciate his effort to promote Ghana through his music.

He said:

“A collaboration like this is just like what Osibisa band did some time ago and there is a need for Ghanaian to support their own and pay attention to us."

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that award-winning Ghanaian actress, Nana Ama McBrown, had congratulated Shatta Wale on his remarkable feature with American star Beyoncé on the Already song.

In a photo sighted by YEN.com.gh, McBrown, on her Instagram page, stated that she is very proud of Shatta Wale.

She also commended Beyoncé for featuring Shatta Wale on her major movie project dubbed Black is King.
