Akufo-Addo commissions the 'University in Somanya'; lovely photos drop

President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has commissioned the University of Environment and Sustainable Development, in Somanya, in the Eastern Region.

He also cut the sod for the commencement of the construction of Phase Two of the University.

The Phase 2 project is valued at forty-nine million, eight hundred and ninety-one thousand, ninety-eight euros (€49,891,098.00), to be completed within thirty (30) months of signature of the agreement.

In a post sighted on YEN.com.gh, Nana Addo stated that the completion of UESD is yet another example of our nation’s commitment to providing quality education and skills training for our people.

He also added that the University of Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD), funded through the Italian Export Credit Agency, SACE, and the German bank, Deutsche Bank.

In a post sighted by YEN.com.gh, former president Mahama revealed that he had gone to his hometown, Bole to register.
