Burna Boy set to release new album, names it Twice As Tall (video)

The Nigerian entertainment industry is no doubt a very competitive one for a number of artistes but a few have been able to outrank the rest and carve a niche for themselves.

The year 2019 was a very good one for top music star, Burna Boy, and many wondered if he would be able to outdo himself the following year.

However, things slowed down for a lot of entertainers in 2020 as the year took an interesting turn with various happenings all over the world, particularly the coronavirus pandemic.

Despite the obvious lull in the industry, Burna Boy, is getting set to bless his fans with another body of work.

The Grammy-nominated star recently took to social media to reveal the name of his upcoming album as well as its release date.

The On The Low crooner named the album Twice As Tall and it is set to be released on August 14, 2020.

Burna Boy also shared a short clip of himself at the studio and also on a video call with music mogul, P.Diddy.

In other Burna Boy related news, the singer recently got Nigerians buzzing over his music collaboration with popular English singer, Sam Smith.

The self-styled African Giant, who had an amazing year 2019 in the music industry, is obviously not resting on his laurels and has big plans for the year 2020 despite things slowing down due to the coronavirus.

Sam Smith had shared a short snippet of their new song together titled My Oasis. The song was released on July 30, 2020.

After the English singer shared the news, a number of Nigerians took to social media to react to it. A number of fans used it as an opportunity to praise Nigerian musicians.
