The court has dismissed the appeal by the MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, seeking redress on the decision that he pays an amount of GHC 130,000 to Kweku Baako.

The lawmaker has reportedly filed an application for the court to prevent Baako from demanding such amount as compensation.

However, he has been reordered to pay that amount to the journalist as compensation after he was sued for defamation.
