4 love triangles that have trended on BBNaija Lockdown

The BBNaija reality show is one that fans usually look forward to every year especially because it takes their minds off other important issues while keeping them entertained.

The show which has been described as a social experiment involves people living together in a house for at most a specified number of days while competing to win the grand prize.

This year, the theme of the BBNaija 2020 show is Lockdown and a total of 20 housemates were put in a house for at most 71 days as they tussle it out for one person to eventually win the N85 million worth of prizes.

The Lockdown edition of the reality show has no doubt left a number of people on social media entertained as they have been the topic of discussion.

The show started off with 10 male housemates and 10 female housemates. However, four of them have already been evicted leaving 8 boys and 8 girls each.

Since the start of the show, one thing that remained prevalent was the housemate’s concentration on forming love relationships in the house. Some fans have even wondered whether the housemates thought they were on another show called Ultimate Love.

The relationships in the house have however led to entangling situations especially in cases where two or more housemates like one person. It then became a competition of who gets who and who would be left hurt.

The Lockdown show has entertained viewers with some of their entanglements and we would be looking at some of them below:

1. Ozo, Nengi and Dorathy:

The dynamics of this relationship is quite interesting. On one hand, Ozo likes Nengi and has been open about his attraction to her. Nengi also seemed to like him at first but seemed to withdraw from him after he showed his likeness in return.

Ozo and Nengi’s relationship has been hot and cold as fans are not sure of how to place them. Many fans were rooting for them to bond so they could be shipped as ‘Ozone’ ( Ozo + Nengi).

Dorathy has also left many fans disbelieving that what she feels for Ozo is just plain friendship and nothing more. The young lady however seems to get riled over the Ozo and Nengi situation as she has expressed as much a few times. Despite that, she has maintained that she only has platonic feelings for Ozo.

2. Prince, Ozo and Nengi:

Another relationship dynamic that got people talking at a point on the show was the one between Prince and Nengi. All the housemates were aware that Ozo had a thing for Nengi but that did not stop Prince from making his affections for her known.

At a point, it seemed like Nengi could not make a decision between Prince and Ozo and it left fans of both guys more confused.

3. Wathoni, Prince and Tolani Baj:

The entanglements in the house has been described as ‘this life no balance’ by some fans on social media. This is because those who like some of the housemates are not being appreciated because the person’s eyes is set on someone else.

Despite Prince wanting to have a thing with Nengi, Wathoni and Tolani Baj also seemed to want a piece of him. This eventually led to a bit of bad blood between Wathoni and Tolani. Wathoni eventually stepped back and Prince settled for Tolani since Nengi wasn’t accepting his advances.

4. Laycon, Erica and Kidd Waya:

This is perhaps the most interesting love triangle on the BBNaija Lockdown show. It has been a topic of discussion on social media with some of the housemates involved even losing their fans as a result.

Erica and Kidd Waya hit things off in the house on a romantic level as they have been seen being loved up on several occasions. Laycon and Erica on the other hand started out as friends but the young rapper started to develop feelings and made it known to her after taking BrightO’s advice.

This eventually led to a lot of awkward situations in the house with Erica saying she likes Kidd physically but likes Laycon mentally. Laycon had also been spotted on several occasions having deep frowns on his face whenever he saw Erica and Kidd kissing.

Just recently, Erica became the Head of House and she chose Kidd Waya to be her deputy. This left Laycon in a poor state and some other housemates were spotted consoling and advising him.
