TrustAkufoAddo: Ghanaians heat up Twitter with top achievements of Nana ahead of 2020 elections

As Ghana builds up to the general elections in December 2020, different political issues keep occupying the trends on social media.

On Twitter, YEN.com.gh has sighted a many posts under the hashtag "TrustAkufoAddo" listing the biggest achievements of the sitting president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

These posts seem to suggest that Nana has performed very well in his first time of office and should be given another four years in office.

NanaTiptoe pointed out the One District, One Ambulance initiative that Akufo-Addo implemented to help save lives.

Osikani_Afoakwa asked Ghanaians to trust Akufo-Addo for prioritising agriculture and ensuring massive growth in the sector.

In a separate post, Osikani_Afoakwa dropped another hashtag indicating that Akufo-Addo kept his promise to construct 10 fishing and landing sites.

RexKwasiDanquah came along to say that Akufo-Addo produced an unmatched fiscal performance.

AfokakwaOsikani mentioned Akufo-Addo's flagship initiative, the Free SHS, which has seen over 1.2 million Ghanaians access secondary education at no cost to them.

According to Ruth Akua Moda, Nana Akufo-Addo needs to be trusted because he employed a total of 64,770 graduate health professionals into the health service.

Meanwhile, National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Mahama's running mate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, has offered to help a 27-year-old Ghanaian lady whose man disappeared after she gave birth to quadruplets

A report by Pulse.com.gh sighted by YEN.com.gh confirms that after hearing of the plight of the woman, Opoku-Agyemang decided to support her with GHc2,000 and promised to do more.

The Member of Parliament for Ellembelle and former Minister of Energy and Petroleum, Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah, presented the donation on behalf of Prof Opoku-Agyemang.
