The traditional marriage ceremony which comes ahead of their white wedding was held on Thursday, August 13, 2020.

The traditional wedding happened to be a beautiful kente-themed ceremony just like many such weddings in Ghana.

Apart from it being a beautiful ceremony, it was also a star-studded event which many of Ghana's top stars passing through.

The likes of actress Nana Ama McBrown, actors-turned-preachers Majid Michel and Timothy Bentum were spotted at the wedding.

Joe Mettle also had support from gospel artistes including Tagoe Sisters, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Cindy Thompson, Ceccy Twum, SP Kofi Sarpong, Nii Okai, among others.

With this number of artistes present, the wedding virtually turned into a live concert as they took turns to perform.

The news of Joe Mettle’s wedding broke last week with his wedding invitation being released Thursday on August 6, 2020.

As reported, the white wedding is expected to be held at the Christian Centre Assemblies of God Church located at Community 17 in Tema.

Per the information on the invitation card spotted by YEN.com.gh, the ceremony will start from 11:30 am.

Before the wedding invitation, there was a widespread rumour that Berla Mundi was dating Mettle and the two were preparing to get married.

Mettle, however, was quick to dismiss the rumour but never mentioned the name of the woman he was seeing and getting ready to marry.

Until the wedding invitation came out, no one knew, except perhaps the families of the couple who were aware Mettle was dating Selassie.

Meanwhile, videos from the bridal shower of Salomey Selassie Dzisa has popped up showing her partying with family and friends.

Earlier, a pre-wedding photo of the couple was also published by YEN.com.gh showing how the two look good and are a perfect match for each other.
