Below are some of the things the NDC has promised to investigate or do when they come to power;

1. Investigate the EC and Jean Mensa

The General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia has hinted that the party will take a serious look into the activities of the Electoral Commission (EC) and its chairperson, Jean Mensa.

2. Investigate Hawa Koomson

The NDC has also served notice that it will prosecute the Minister of Special Initiatives and Member of Parliament (MP) for Awutu Senya East, Mavis Hawa Koomson when it comes to power.

The NDC claims the MP should be prosecuted for firing a gun in public.

3. NDC threatens to purge Ghana’s security agencies

The NDC has threatened to deal with the security agencies mercilessly if they win the upcoming December 7, 2020, general elections.

According to the National Communications Officer of the party, Sammy Gyamfi, the security agencies are in bed with the ruling NPP.

He claims that the Akufo-Addo government has bastardised them.

4. Prosecute PDS ‘fraudsters’

The NDC’s National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi has also said they will prosecute all persons implicated in the botched ECG-PDS concession deal.

The party says although Energy Minister Peter Amewu publicly admitted that PDS was fraud committed on the country, no individual has been brought to book almost a year after the cancellation of the agreement.

YEN.com.gh also earlier reported that Mr. Sammi Awuku, the National Organiser of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), has described flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama as a man who has no blueprint or track record when it comes to fulfilling promises.

Speaking at an NPP conference in Accra, Mr. Awuku urged Ghanaians to ignore the former president’s promises he is making all over, saying he lacks a blueprinting of implementation.

He noted that Mahama’s claim that he will better implement the Free SHS policy is untrue.
