Addi Self: Ex Shatta Wale Militant tours Kumasi with his latest song Eddi Worhor

Addi Self, a former Militant of Shatta Wale's Shatta Movement (SM), is making great strides in his music career after leaving the SM camp.

Addi Self, known in private life as Jafaro Mohammed, was ousted as an SM Militant alongside Joint 77 and Natty Lee in May 2020.

Announcing their sack, Shatta Wale described the three as lazy artistes who are not willing to put in enough work.

But Addi Self is seeming to prove that he is not lazy or he is willing to try at least.

Barely three months after leaving, Addi Self is doing very well and could soon rub shoulders with the topmost artistes in the country.

Self who has recently released a new song titled Eddi Wohor which is a danceable tune. Released in late July, the song is making waves and already has over 100,000 streams across major music streaming platforms.

Recently, Addi Self went on a media tour to promote the Eddi Worhor song. The tour saw him appear on reputable stations like Hello FM, Silver FM, YFM, Abusua FM, Nhyira FM, and many others.

YEN.com.gh understands the tour was a very successful one as Addi Self was well-received by fans.

Self even has a fan drawing and image of him on a wall. When he visited the place the art is, he was mobbed by fans.

Going on the tour, Addi Self flew his crew from Accra. With his support base known as Self Nation (SN), Addi Self is planning to launch clothing line called SN and his crew could be seen dressed in their own SN apparel.

From all indications, Addi Self is doing very well is poised to succeed as a solo artist.
