President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, will on Tuesday, August 18, commence a two-day tour of the Western Region.
The purpose of his visit is to inspect a number of on-going projects, inaugurate and cut sods for some projects as well.
Akufo-Addo will meet with the members of the Regional House of Chiefs and Regional Executives, Parliamentary Candidates, and Takoradi Constituency Executives of the NPP while in the region.

Akufo-Addo would later visit the Central Region for a similar visit.
Akufo-Addo will inspect the on-going construction of the Ankyernyin – Egyam Road, the Esiama – Nkroful Road, the Gwira Anyinase – Wiawso Road as well as the inspection of the Nsuaem Senior Hgh School.
The President would also launch some projects as well as cut the sod for the commencement of some projects in the Western Region.

In other news, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has begun a four-day tour of the Volta Region.
He is expected to the Oti region for three days.
The Spokesperson of the NDC Campaign Team, James Agyenim-Boateng, made this known in a statement issued.
Mahama will be meeting with traditional rulers, opinion leaders, organised labour, supporters, members, and activists of the NDC.
