Obaa Rose is a budding female gospel singer with a physical disability who is making great strides despite her physical state.

The resilient Ghanaian woman has managed to release singles, including Aseda, Depend on God, and a few others that are already touching lives.

Her journey as a promising career gospel singer has not been free of major roadblocks. According to Crime Check TV, Rose has faced unacceptable sexual advances from the men she approached for help to produce her songs.

Rose faced heaps of financial difficulties after the demise of her husband, who was a major financial backbone. YEN.com.gh learned she had a son with the man before he passed away.

As a single mother, she had to depend on others for help. She was sexually harassed by most of the men she approached for help.

However, in spite of the hurdles, she has managed to release some singles which are all available on her YouTube account and social media platforms.

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh recently reported that a young trailblazer named Jasmine Bowers has etched her name in the sands of history as she becomes the first Black person to earn a doctorate degree in Computer Science from the University of Florida in the United States.

Amid the raging coronavirus pandemic, Jasmine joined the ranks of women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) as she makes history.

Jasmine recently announced her academic milestone in a post on social media stating that ''on July 15, I became the first Black woman to defend a dissertation in computer science at UF.''
