Make your vote count; vote for change – Mahama to Voltarian electorates

- John Dramani Mahama has urged the Voltarians to rally behind him massively to ensure victory in the upcoming polls

Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has urged the Voltarians to rally behind him massively to ensure victory in the upcoming polls

Mahama encouraged the electorates in the Volta Region to build any form of resilience against anybody who tries to intimidate them come December 2020.

He made this known while addressing residents of Mepe in the North Tongu constituency as part of his four-day campaign tour of the Region.

“… You have the opportunity to change that and you can only change that if you’re able to vote, and so you must not allow anybody to disrupt that voting procedure in your polling station branch and make your vote not to count," he said.

Mahama also encouraged the electorates to commit themselves to ensuring a peaceful free and elections, devoid of chaos and any form of violence .

“And so, let’s all commit to peaceful elections and I know that if the elections are peaceful, free and fair, NDC would be victorious in the election.”

John Mahama further noted that if voted for his government would embark on massive job creation for the teeming Ghanaian youth.

In other news, parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo says he will do everything possible to ensure Ghana’s Rent Control Act is enforced if he gets into Parliament.

According to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate, one of the difficulties facing the youth is coughing out money to pay two years' rent.

In a tweet on Monday, August 17, 2020, Dumelo said the youth cannot survive if they have to pay two years' rent upfront.
