Master KG is having a great 2020. The musician's Jerusalema remix featuring Nigerian star Burna Boy and local girl Nomcebo Zikode has been certified gold.
The Limpopo-born music producer keeps flying the Mzansi flag very high. Master KG only dropped the remix about a few weeks ago but it has already been certified gold.

He took to Twitter to share the exciting news with his fans who just love him for being authentic. While most of Mzansi's music producers have jumped on the Amapiano wave, Master KG is sticking to his lane and he is reaping all the rewards because of that.
The original version of the song has over 80 million views on YouTube. The star tweeted on Monday, 17 August:

In other news related to Master KG, it was reported that a high school in the Free State has made waves after a video of students dancing to Master KG's Jerusalema went viral.
The song, which was released last year, has gained notoriety with the #JerusalemaChallenge. Hoërskool Witteberg in Bethlehem posted a video on Facebook this week of mask-clad students dancing in an open field.
The video, uploaded with the caption "#JerusalemaDanceChallenge bring nuwe hoop! #net1skool #trotsWitteberg", has gained over 150k views and 1.9k shares on Facebook.
The video garnered thousands of views in a matter of days and is proof that the South African spirit is still here, even in lockdown. Facebook users were not shy to comment about how proud they were of these students.
