Going through one's day could be quite a challenging task as no one knows what could happen at any time.
A 3-year-old baby, Myrtle Beach, has found the perfect solution to creating the right energy before she faces her day.
While parenting could be a lot of work, adding the little work of mentally preparing your kids to face the gigantic realities of the world would go a long way.
Myrtle’s mom, Tiania Haneline, from South Carolina in the US, could as well be given the medal for the best mother for how she is effectively building the psychological strength of her kid.
“People are going to look at her as a black woman. They’re not going to see her as a mixed-race woman.
“Instilling that, ‘I love my brown skin, I am beautiful, my curls are beautiful,’ I just want to instill that in her. So whenever she does get called names, because I know she’s going to, that it’s not going to bother her,” the mom said.
Western Journal reports that Haneline has been sharing reaffirmations with her daughter and posting the video on her Facebook page.
Some of the words that her daughter confesses are “I love my hair”, “I am loved”, “Jesus loves me”, “I love my brown skin”, “I am strong woman” among others.

The mother said that she wonders what her confidence level will be like when she gets older, adding that Myrtle also extends the good words to others like her by saying “Mommy, you’re so beautiful, I’m, so proud of you”.
Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that a video posted on Facebook of a little boy singing went viral.
