Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumua on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, held a Town Hall Meeting in Accra to outline the NPP’s infrastructure projects since the party came into power.
He stated that the NPP has initiated 17,334 infrastructural projects across the country.
“Of these, we have completed 8,746 and there is 8,588 ongoing,” Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia said.

Dr. Bawumia also stated that the Akufo-Addo government did not leave any district in Ghana behind in the infrastructure projects.
He said having realised the disproportionate allocation of infrastructure in the country, the Akufo-Addo government has, in its first term in office, pursued an agenda to ensure the even spread of amenities to accelerate growth at both the local and national levels.
The Vice President noted that historically, government infrastructure projects have been concentrated in the big cities at the expense of deprived communities, but the Akufo-Addo government has decided to leave no one behind as far as development is concerned.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Communication Officer, Sammy Gyamfi described the lecture as false and plagiarized.
Gyamfi stated that some of the projects listed by the NPP are projects completed by the John Mahama administration.
“Bawumia’s presentation on the so-called infrastructural achievements of the Akufo Addo-government, is a compendium of blatant falsehoods, plagiarized Mahama projects, and a comical celebration of mediocrity,” the NDC Commission Officer tweeted right after Bawumia’s presentation.
