The Rebecca Foundation a foundation founded by the First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo has presented a variety of medical supplies to the Saltpond Government Hospital.
The presentation is to ensure quality health care delivery in Saltpond and beyond.
They are thermometer guns, face masks, baby diapers, liquid soaps, detergents among others.
The First Lady said her Foundation is focused on augmenting government's efforts in improving healthcare delivery in the country.

Since 2017, the Foundation has partnered the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the Ghana Health Service (GHS) to ensure accessible health care delivery to women and children
The Foundation had donated hospital equipment and supplies to health facilities across the 16 regions of the country.
It also embarked on health outreaches and services across the Country.

In other news, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency, Lydia Seyram Alhassan, has donated some items, as well as money, to those who lost properties following a fire outbreak at Shiashie, a suburb of Accra.
She revealed that the situation has been reported to the relevant authorities and they are hopeful that life would return to normalcy in due time.
According to her, she had donated some dry food items, buckets and clothes to those affected but that is not enough.
