President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 began a four day tour of the Western Region of Ghana.
In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh the president was welcomed to the Takoradi Market Circle by a mammoth crowd who were obviously excited to see him.
Even though the COVID-19 pandemic was still rife some persons decided to throw caution to the wind, by not adhering to social distancing as well as wearing thier nose masks.
The excitement the president was met with at the Takoradi shows how welcomed and loved he was by the people of the Oil city.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, will on Tuesday, August 18, commence a two-day tour of the Western Region.
The purpose of his visit is to inspect a number of on-going projects, inaugurate and cut sods for some projects as well.
Akufo-Addo will meet with the members of the Regional House of Chiefs and Regional Executives, Parliamentary Candidates, and Takoradi Constituency Executives of the NPP while in the region.
