Waakye reportedly stuck in hospital over unpaid bills; Creative Arts leaders send him GHC10

Reports going round on social media have it that veteran actor Prince Yawson, famed as Waakye, is currently being held up at a health facility over some unpaid bills.

According to the reports, the comic actor's medical bills had piled up so much that he was finding it difficult to settle them.

A social media user on Instagram by name @iamphylxgh made this known in a post after he shared a photo of the actor on a sickbed.

The post read:

"According to reports, popular Ghanaian actor Waakye, born Prince Yawson has been refused exit from the hospital after his medical bill has become difficult to pay...Let's try reach out and support him if possible"

Just when people are trying to confirm the news, it has come out that the leaders of Creative Arts For Change gave a certain lady GHC10 to give to the actor to buy food.

This was confirmed by Ola Michael who made the comments while speaking on a radio programme on Neat FM.

According to Ola Michael, the lady in question did not want to make the matter public for fear of losing any form of support the organization might have for Waakye.

In a piece of more encouraging news, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Second Lady of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Samira Bawumia, has received a surprise of her life on her 40th birthday on August 20, 2020.

The stateswoman walked into her office with the notion of working only to be surprised by her staff who had put in a lot of work to make the day special for their boss.

Some staff of the second lady hid in her office as she walked in and turned on the lights to surprise her with flowers, balloons and many wishes of good health and prosperity.
