Our Manifesto: This is what YEN.com.gh believes in
Ghana’s Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, predictably caused a stir at the launch of the 2020 manifesto of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The event was held on Saturday, August 22, 2020, at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) in the Central Region.
The event attracted members of the top hierarchy of the party including President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Bawumia.

Samira was seen wearing a predominantly white lace outfit, a blue and white face mask as well as a red headscarf.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that in the course of the event, Dr. Bawumia disclosed that the next NPP government will offer advanced loans to working youth to pay their rents.
He said this will be realised in the next administration of the NPP should the party win the 2020 election.
The vice president said this is part of the housing policy captured in the 2020 manifesto of the party.
