Movie producer Socrates Sarfo has told Mr Beautiful, known in real life as Clement Bonney that it is his own bragging and not politics that destroyed his acting career.

Socrates was speaking in UTV's flagship show Entertainment Showbiz when he made the comment about Mr Beautiful's career.

In the said video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Socrates claimed that another reason for the dip in Mr Beautiful's acting career was the fact that he went to follow and attach himself to Prophet Badu Kobi.

On this matter, Socrates said that the job given to Mr Beautiful by the popular prophet made it hard for the actor to even come to location to shoot movies.

Socrates added that many movie producers called for the services of Mr Beautiful but his new role assigned to him by the prophet hindered hi from honouring any of the call-ups.

The outspoken moviemaker added that initially, Mr Beautiful attributed his difficulty in getting roles to his local language, Fante, but that, according to Sarfo, was not the major reason for the dip.

In responding, however, Mr Beautiful claimed that he was an award-winning actor and that the claims made by Sarfo were not factual.

Singer Nicholas Omane Acheampong who was also in the studios then, claimed that Mr Beautiful was not getting roles because he was not talented enough.

According to the Tabitha Kum singer, John Dumelo had also openly declared his support for the NDC but he was not being vilified.
