Woman celebrates bagging Master's degree and beating breast cancer

An inspiring Facebook post has brought hope and pride to many South Africans. Mawisa Chauke shared her brief yet inspiring story on Facebook group Varsity World. Mawisa is a Master's graduate who was unfortunately diagnosed with cancer around the time of her graduation.

She shared images of her fully clad in her black graduation gown and cap with a face full of tears. In the second image, she can be seen smiling through the pain. The post has over 800 reactions and almost 50 shares. Part of the caption read:

"I don't understand why am I crying, I was happy for my graduation but also hurt for just being diagnosed with cancer."

The comment section is full of heartwarming congratulatory messages after the latter part of the post confirmed that Mawisa had won her battle against breast cancer.

In other news making waves, YEN.com.gh reported that a gentleman who simply calls himself Abraham on Twitter with the handle @_mmla_ has narrated how God save him from a terrible accident he suffered five years ago.

In the post sighted by YEN.com.gh on Abraham's personal handle, the gentleman indicated that the incident consolidated his belief in God and Jesus Christ.

According to him, he was hit by a drunk driver and terribly suffered concussion, broken femur, shattered pelvis and a massive blood loss.
