The National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency, John Dumelo is really in for business in the upcoming polls in December.

He has promised to give over 4000 laptops to tertiary students in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency.

According to the aspiring legislator, the distribution will be done by the John Dumelo Foundation.

Mr. Dumelo noted that the gesture is also supposed to help and assist students access online learning in this COVID-19 era.

He also stated that he is a believer in quality education.

The NDC parliamentary candidate has been giving the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate, Lydia Alhassan hell of a time in the constituency.

The Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency seat is expected to be keenly contested on December 7.

The electorates in the area have been enjoying a lot of goodies and freebies from the two main parliamentary contenders. It’s indeed a good time to be an electorate in this constituency!

From all indications, this is an act of selflessness and philanthropy as opposed to a political strategy to win votes.
