Our Manifesto: This is what YEN.com.gh believes in
YEN.com.gh has sighted a rather interesting video of some students being handed out their free meals as promised and encouraged to say the new mantra.
In the video, the children who were spotted in a queue as they awaited their turn, each had to say 4 more for Nana after receiving their meal.
Even though it is funny and not right at the same time, the video has received a lot of reactions as people do not agree with what was being done.
Some people could just not fathom why the students who were not electorates were being involved in politicking.
As to whether or not the video was from the camp of the NPP, YEN.com.gh cannot verify.
Below are some reactions from Ghanaians.
Ebenezer Annan said the person is an overzealous devotee
This is an over zealous devotee! I think we should discourage this kind of politics. I'm certain the pupils know what to do!
Kwaku Yeboah said the extent of our politicking is unfortunate
The extent of our politicking is rather unfortunate. Every single social intervention seems tainted with politics... we are a different breed.
Tsedey Stephen says the new mantra in town means nothing to him
All this 4years for NANA people are saying means nothing me as a voter. They can even direct schools to use it as an anthem. When am going to vote ,I will consider my standard of living before voting.
Iyke Akwasi Amoako Kakra had a different opinion
Wondering who is behind this. A northerner will never discriminate against this kind of food upon my 4 year teaching experience there.
Meanwhile, students of St. Cyprian's Anglican JHS 'A' in Kumasi, rejected President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's free hot meal served them.
According to the students the food that was served them not tasty and was salty as well.
In a report filed by Class News, the students were reported saying they were not prisoners to be served such a meal.
One of the students also said the contract that was given to their caterer should be cancelled and rather given to her mother since the food was no good.
