Fame doesn't bring money in Ghana – Efia Odo asserts

TV personality, Efia Odo, says there is no future for Ghanaians because structures in the country do not work.

In a tweet sighted by YEN.com.gh, Efia Odo said all the fame of some Ghanaians celebrities is illusional, adding that most of the celebs are struggling and not making money.

Efia Odo also stated that in Ghana, its either you come from a good home or one indulges in fraud to be able to live comfortably.

According to her, even teachers, doctors and bankers are not paid well enough to make them live well in Ghana.

"There’s no future for us, on God. How much do teachers, bankers, doctors make in Ghana?? It’s either you come from a good home or you’re doing fraud. Our structure in every aspect is horrible!, " she tweeted.

Comparing Ghana to the US, Efia Odo disclosed that people working at McDonalds make more money than most people in Ghana.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Efia Odo had finally commented about her relationship with the Dancehall King, Shatta Wale.

According to Efia Odo, Shatta Wale is her 'bestie' and there is no way it can materialize into something else.

Efia Odo's comments come rumors went live on social media that she was dating Shatta Wale.

In a tweet sighted by YEN.com.gh, Efia Odo said it will be inappropriate to mix pleasure with business hence the reason they keep their relationship strictly professional.

Efia Odo made this comment after a fan had proposed that should she marry Shatta Wale, US singer Beyonce, will perform at their wedding for free.
