Lady argues Nana Ama McBrown is not 43; gives explanation about actress’ date of birth

A social media user, Ethel Guggisberg, has given reasons why she believes actress Nana Ama McBrown is 50 years and not 43 as she has been preaching.
In a post sighted by YEN.com.gh, Ethel gave the breakdown of McBrown’s age in simple mathematics.
She reasoned that August 15, 1977, which is known to be McBrown’s date of birth, as announced by the actress, does not fall on a Saturday.

YEN.com.gh’s checks confirm that indeed, that day falls on a Monday and not a Saturday.
However, Ama is a name for females born on Saturday in the Akan tribe, therefore, Ethel believes 1977 cannot be McBrown’s year of birth.
She added that the actress has on many occasions boasted about being a proud Saturday born, therefore, it cannot be that she was named after anyone.
That being said, Ethel discovered that the only year in that time period on which August 15 falls on a Saturday is actually 1970, meaning that is McBrown’s possible year of birth.
If that is the case, Ethel reasoned then, that McBrown is not 43 as she claims, but rather 50 years.

Some people have commented on Ethel’s mathematics with different views:
Rita, for instance, defended 43 as McBrown’s real age:
ritabenson460: “Nana Ama is 43yrs. Cos she was with my sister in same class @ kwadaso . My sis will reach 43 Nov of dis year. Na stop dis.”
Perfect also argued that McBrown’s mother is 64, therefore, it is very unlikely that the actress herself would be 50 years:

Kofi, however, appeared amazed by the calculations:
kofiartist: “This one be life calculations oohh.”
Addison did not want to accept Ethel’s maths:
addison.benedicta: “Is she aware there is something called a leap year? You don't expect her birthday to be accurate dear.”

Meanwhile, McBrown celebrated her 43rd birthday recently with a star-studded party.
Her daughter Baby Maxin entertained guests at the party with her unique entrance as she drove her own car fearlessly.
In a recent report, her husband Maxwell Mensah was spotted playing with their daughter in an adorable photo.
