The 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) ariste of the year was presented to Eugene Marfo, known in showbiz circles as Kuami Eugene

The musician popularly referred to as Rockstar also won the highlife artiste of the year

HIs announcement as the artiste of the year did not garner much reaction and excitement from most people in the auditorium.

Since Kofi Kinaata was top of the list in those who bagged several awards, a lot of Ghanaians were actually rooting for him to win the prestigious award of the night.

Another person who was being tipped to win the prestigious award was AMG Medikal.

Aside the excitement that came with being honoured with such an award, Kuami Eugene was surprised as he said he was not expecting to be awarded with such.

This year's VGMA was hosted by TV presenter Berla Mundi and Radio show host, Kofi Okyere Darko, popularly known as KOD.

It is an annual music events where Ghanaian artistes are rewarded and celebrated for their excellence in churning out good contents with regards to music.

The events saw artistes like Okyeame Kwame, Kidi, Kwesi Arthur and a host of others being rewarded.

In other news, Ghanaian Hip-hop artiste Edward Kofi Agyemang Amoah, popularly known as Kofi Mole, has stunned the whole of Ghana with a first time outing of his young son.

On Day 2 of the ongoing Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, the Don’t Be Late singer appeared on the Red Carpet with the young man who was dressed in the same outfit as his dad.

The cute young man was seen following in his dad’s footsteps and did not want to be left behind.
