Meanwhile, Kuami Eugene has thanked God and Ghanaians for his award. He also held a big party to celebrate his achievement together with KiDi, Adina, and others.

Kuami Eugene, 22, is the youngest musician to ever win the topmost VGMA in the history of Ghana music.

He takes over from the late Ebony Reigns who won it posthumously in 2018.

This was because no winner was announced for 2019, as that VGMA event was marred by Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy fighting, causing Stonebwoy to pull a gun.
