Akwaboah Snr and Jnr drop epic remix for Ghanaian all-time classic Awerekyekyere (video)
The long-awaited link-up between Akwaboah senior and Akwaboah Junior has finally seen the light of day as they have remixed one of the highlife classic songs, Awerekyekyere.
The legendary Ghanaian Highlife singer, Kwadwo Akwaboah Senior teamed up with the silky voice Kwabena Akwaboah Jnr as they reworked his hit song.
In the video sighted by YEN.com.gh, the father and son were seen seated side by side as they did their business on the organ and as they brought their A-game voices as well.
The duo was backed by rather young vocalists and instrumentalists as they added a more trendy touch to the classic song.
Kwadwo Akwaboah’s song was produced many years ago and has remained one of the people’s favorite love songs for years.
Akwaboah, a master keyboardist, has played for a lot of local and international artistes including Hugh Masekela and John Legend, and has assisted several musicians to make it big in the industry.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that outspoken actress Afia Schwarzenegger, born Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, has surprised her twin sons following their graduation from Kumasi Senior High School.
The mother of three, in a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, was heard busily laughing as she called her sons to join her in what looked like the living room.
Afia Schwar was heard asking her sons. James and John, if they were enjoying their new house which was her graduation gift to them.
We also reported that popular dancehall artiste Kelvynboy, born Kelvin Brown, has unfollowed all the people he was following on social media site Instagram after the VGMA 2020.
The Mea singer was a nominee at the 21st edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and was present to pick the award should he be adjudged the winner.
Things did not however go as he planned as the award category in which he was nominated went to someone else.
