The National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, is calling on Ghanaians to always remember President Nana Akufo-Addo in prayers for his exemplary leadership.
According to Nana Boakye, President Akufo-Addo needs the support and prayers of every Ghanaian to do more Ghana.
In a radio discussion monitored by YEN.com.gh on Peace FM on Monday, August 31, the man who is affectionately called Nana B opined the NPP leaders needs to be given another four-year term to continue with the good job he is doing for the country.
‘’Let's continue to pray for him. Let's continue to support him, for in times like this that the nation needs quality leadership,’’ he said.
Meanwhile, the NPP also held a press conference on Monday to address certain issues raised by their political opponent, the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The NPP's Director of Communications, Yaw Buaben Asamoa, also opined that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) deferred its manifesto launch because they don't have anything sensible to tell Ghanaians.
The Adentan MP stated that the NDC doesn't know what Ghanaians want and they have also been hit hard by the quality of the NPP's manifesto.
“.... Mahama has ruled for 6 years but, he is still struggling to find out what Ghanaians governance priorities are."
YEN.com.gh earlier also reported that the NPP has called on Ghanaians to reject former President John Mahama at the December polls because he lacks focus.
Buaben Asamoa, said Mahama’s records make him unfit to seek another mandate.
“It is the NPP’s strong contention that candidate John Dramani Mahama does not have the focus and competence necessary to take this country in the right direction,” Mr. Asamoa noted at the presser which was monitored by YEN.com.gh.
